Security At The Consulate

Please do not bring mobile phones, laptops or briefcases into the Embassy!

Do not bring mobile phones or any electronic devices, such as Blackberries, IPods, key fobs, or PDAs as they are not allowed within the Consulate. Do not bring large bags, such as backpacks, suitcases or packages. Note: Those who do not follow these instructions will experience considerable delays at the security check point which could result in the interview being cancelled.

Only applicants with a scheduled appointment will be admitted into the Consulate.

Minors under the age of 16 who are accompanied by a parent or applicants requiring a translator or an assistant, if disabled, must notify the Operator Assisted Information Line at the time of booking the appointment. If you have not done so, please call 09042-450100 (calls cost £1.23/min) now, otherwise the person will not be admitted into the Consulate on the day of your interview.
