Welcome to the American Citizen Services (ACS) Section of the Consulate General Belfast. We provide passport and consular related services to American Citizens in Northern Ireland. How to contact us
Please make an appointment prior to visiting the Consulate. Appointments for passport services, for reporting the birth of a child born abroad to an American parent(s), and for notary services should be booked online on the appropriate service page. Refer to the website of the U.S. Embassy in London for further information in this regard.
For any other service, please telephone (028) 9038 6104 during office hours (8:30am through 5:00pm) or email consularbelfast@state.gov to book an appointment in advance. This will enable us to ensure that the necessary personnel are available to assist you at the time of your visit.

STEP Program

If you are a U.S. Citizen currently traveling abroad, you may wish to enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program. You can do so through the Department of State's STEP system.
