We visit U.S. citizens in jail, assist families and friends following the death of a U.S. citizen loved one, offer help to U.S. children and families involved in abduction, custody, support, and other cases, check on the welfare of U.S. citizens in Northern Ireland, provide routine notary services (by appointment only), can help you register to vote in U.S. elections, and can provide you with information on safety and security in the United Kingdom. For extensive information relating to these services please see the website of the U.S. Embassy in London. Choose the emergency or non-emergency service you require from the London page. Where it is necessary to contact the Belfast Consulate for further assistance or to book an appointment in Belfast as for a notary service, you will find information on how to do so on the relevant page.
We also provide a quarterly Newsletter for resident U.S. citizens which is located on our Messages for U.S. Citizens page.
