Other U.S. Citizen Services
The U.S. Citizen Services Section of the Consulate General in Belfast provides a variety of emergency and non-emergency services to U.S. citizens in Northern Ireland.
We visit U.S. citizens in jail, assist families and friends following the death of a U.S. citizen loved one, offer help to U.S. children and families involved in abduction, custody, support, and other cases, check on the welfare of U.S. citizens in Northern Ireland, can help you register to vote in U.S. elections, and can provide you with information on safety and security in the United Kingdom. For extensive information relating to these services please see the website of the U.S. Embassy in London. Choose the emergency or non-emergency service you require from the London page. Where it is necessary to contact the Belfast Consulate for further assistance or to book an appointment in Belfast, you will find information on how to do so on the relevant page.
We provide notary services by appointment only for those persons wishing to execute documents in the presence of a U.S. consular officer (you do not need to be a U.S. citizen to use this service).
