Passport Services

Welcome to the U.S. Passport & Citizenship Section of the U.S. Consulate General Belfast.  We provide passport services for residents of Northern Ireland.  We are open for appointments Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons.  The Unit is closed on Saturday, Sunday, and American, British and Northern Irish holidays.

For further information on the different types of passport services we provide (adult/minor renewal, replacement for lost/stolen/damaged, etc.), please see U.S. Embassy London's website.  Select the specific passport service you require from the "What Service Do You Require?" menu on the London page.  On the page you chose, you will find comprehensive instructions on how to apply for the specific service  together with links to the relevant online application form(s).  You will also find instructions on how to schedule an appointment in Belfast where it is necessary to apply in person.  Some applications can be submitted by mail.  Where this is possible, you will find instructions on how and where to submit the application.
